Situated in the far north-western corner of NSW, Tibooburra has been officially declared the hottest town in NSW (and possibly the driest) and is known as the “Corner Country Capital” because it is the gateway to so many of Australia’s outback wonders.

It makes for the perfect base to explore Sturt National Park, Cameron Corner, Depot Glen, Sturts Cairn, Milparinka Heritage Centre, the Dingo Fence, Innamincka, Burke & Wills Dig Tree and many other exciting and interesting attractions.

  • TJ's Roadhouse is located on the southern end of Tibooburra. It is to the right of the Silver City Highway/Briscoe Street as you end to township.

There are many different routes that can be taken when driving from any of the capital cities to Tibooburra; there are highway routes and adventure routes along the 'road less travelled' via sealed and unsealed roads..
